Mastering Salesforce DevOps Book Launch Party

We had a very special evening event on Wednesday, during Dreamforce 2019, bringing together my former team at Appirio and my current team at Copado to celebrate the launch of Mastering Salesforce DevOps. As I said at the event, it was a bit like having your ex-girlfriend and your current girlfriend throw you a joint birthday party, but everyone was very adult about it 🙂

Appirio hosted the event at the Tabletop Taphouse, which they rent every year for the event. The space is great and Appirio did a fantastic job arranging everything, as they always do. The party was kicked off by Yoni Barkan, VP of products and my manager at Appirio, who then invited me to say a few words.

It was touching for me to see people from these two important phases of my life gathered together, and I appreciate everyone who was able to join. We signed and distributed perhaps 100 books, but I regret not having a chance to say hi to each person in attendance.
